The moon
It was a small step to take this image, but took some giant time to release it.
Yesterday I searched for a file in Google Drive and therefore scrolled down a bit. Because of the new user interface I saw a preview of all my files and one of them was this: The moon.
My first thought was: “Wow, who created this one!?” Then I checked out the creation date and found the RAW version of this image on my own hard disk. And then I remembered: It was one of the wonderful evenings in my parents-in-laws garden. I had the camera with me because of a big birthday party which was almost over. The sky was clear and the moon was shining brightly. I took my tripod and captured this one.
Not sure why I never released it, but apparently I liked it at least a bit, because somehow it made its way to Google Drive. Today, with some more experience in using Lightroom, I re-developed the RAW image, did some basic adjustments and removed the chromatic aberrations.
