8 GB hard drive disassembled

Yesterday I fetched an old 8 GB hard drive from the basement to disassemble it. In fact, I asked my girlfriend if she wants to do it, so I watched her unscrewing it. We both were really disappointed when we just found a single disc inside this 3.5 inch body. No wonder that this hard drive just took eight gigabyte.

Nevertheless, we both had lot of fun, especially when shooting the parts afterwards. The most tricky and amusing thing was to get good light conditions and smooth shadows; it was tricky for us, because we only had a single flash and did not want to use any other light source. Long exposure and triggering the flash multiple times brought us to this result.
