Northern Gannet over Heligoland

Have you ever been to Helgoland (aka. Heligoland in English)? No? Then you should go there! But stay over night, or even for some days. When I was there with my girlfriend, we used the Halunder Jet, which takes about four hours for one way. When you do this on one day as we did, you are on the boat for about eight hours and on the island for about three hours. Three hours is not really enough if you want to have lunch, buy some souvenirs, explore the island and take beautiful pictures.

Anyway, it’s a beautiful island with a wonderful coast, beautiful houses and many birds. The last is because of the bird reservoir on the island and this is where I shot this picture.
