This summer was really hot here in Austria. The weather stations reported the highest temperatures ever, more than 40°C. The nights were very hot too, sometimes we had to sleep at 31°C in the night here in Vienna. On one of those days we did a trip to the Myrafälle – and this was the best idea!
These waterfalls are a natural landmark in Lower Austria, not far from Vienna. It’s a great place for photographers and it’s also a great place for hot summer days: The freshening water cools down the air. While we walked along the small river in the shadows of the trees it felt like 15 degrees cooler than in the big city.
